Course Description

The Graduate Certificate (GC) in ABA is intended for psychology graduates and professionals in the areas of mental health, education, special education, early intervention, speech and language, and occupational therapy, who are at various stages in their professional development. 

The GC is designed to provide in depth knowledge of behaviorally based intervention in the area of developmental disabilities, addressing but not limited to autistic spectrum disorders, ADHD, disruptive behavior disorders, MR and learning disabilities, while adhering to the scientist-practitioner model.

The GC in ABA starts in September each year and can be completed in one academic year for those interested in the BcaBA, which is directed toward undergraduate students, or in one and one half year, for those interested in the BCBA, which is directed toward graduate students. Term classes typically meet once a week, Monday - Thursday from 6-9 pm.
