About the Programme

The MBA (Two Year Full-Time) Degree programme at JGBS is designed to prepare business leaders of future. The industry captains of tomorrow receive comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of business management, and at the same time have opportunity to pursue their chosen areas of specialization. With a global management perspective and a unique pedagogy of learning and interaction among peers, it not only creates excellent managers but also instills the spirit of entrepreneurship so that the students evolve into leaders and wealth creators in the years to come.

The unique pedagogy emphasizes learning through discovery rather than from classroom instruction, problem-solving instead of rote-learning and critical thinking as opposed to acquiring knowledge as information. In other words, we emphasize that they be their own teacher so that they continue to grow and enrich themselves long after leaving the school. Activities like live projects, field assignments and simulation games form an integral part of the programme. The in-depth dissertation exercise helps achieve holistic learning and provides for a comprehensive understanding of the contemporary business environment.

Global Exposure: The global curriculum is complemented by exposure to corporate and the culture of foreign countries. This is facilitated by a global immersion programme and opportunity for one-year full-time study abroad.
• Personality Development: To ensure all-round development which is necessary for realization of one’s full potential, the curriculum embeds mandatory morning yoga and evening games. Participation in extra-curricular activities like debates, dramatics, and pursuit of hobbies is also strongly encouraged.

JGBS has consistently placed all students for summer internships in organizations such as E&Y, SMS-Siemag, KPMG, UB Group, IOCL, Pepsico, Makemytrip, Reliance retail, FRS Global, etc. Students have been placed in leading firms such as Deloitte Consulting, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, JSPL, Sodexo, ARSS Group, Luxottica Group, etc.
