Course Description
The Chemical Science program provides a modern research-oriented education in Chemistry. From the first day, students work on research projects in close contact with faculty and benefit from the expertise of the three Research Centres: Catalysis, Advanced Membranes & Porous Materials, and Solar and Photovoltaic Engineering. Interdisciplinary research opportunities also arise from collaborations with other PSE programs and KAUST divisions. State-of-the-art equipmentand strong links to industrial partners prepare our graduates to meet the challenges of a globalized job market.Students in the Chemical Science program gain a strong background in modern chemistry by focusing on Analytical, Inorganic, Organic, Physical, and Polymer Chemistry, while preparing to work on highly interdisciplinary challenges. After completing the MS degree, students will have acquired a sound foundation for both a career in chemical research and for continuing in advanced graduate studies.
