Course Description
The BSc (Hons) Exercise Health (Health and Rehabilitation) course is intended to provide students with a firm foundation for safe, competent practice in the area of exercise programme design and implementation. It will also open up a wide range of opportunities for you to pursue a career in health care and/or further studies in health-related disciplines.
This exciting and practical course has two aims.
The first is to develop exercise science practitioners who can design, instruct and manage safe and competent evidence-based exercise and rehabilitation programmes for the healthy, ill, disabled and sporting sub-populations.
The second is to provide a strong scientific background in exercise science for those wishing to continue to postgraduate level.
With this course we aim to:

- Develop your critical understanding of anatomical, physiological and behavioural aspects of health and illness and to integrate appropriate exercise into health promotion

- Instil an understanding of the need for lifelong learning

280 UCAS points, which should include two science-based subjects. You’ll also be assessed on your ability to cope with the intellectual demands of the Chiropractic programme.
