Course Description

Study our exceptional Master's program in one or two years. 

The programme in general is intended as a one-year programme. Arrangements will be made however for any part-time students to be able to complete the programme over two years. As required for Masters Programmes, the Masters in Business Information Management will have 1,800 hours of study in a variety of for MSc including self-study reading and assignment preparation. The MBIM involves a total of 180 credits, allocated as follows:

The compulsory Core Courses, each of 20 credits are:

Information System Design, Development & Management
Information System Theory & Practice
People & Technology
Business Research Methods
The Specialisation modules currently offered each count for 20 credits (the list will be expanded over time). A choice of two is required for the degree from:

Foundation of Modern Management
Knowledge Management
Entrepreneurship
Please note that the number of Specialisations offered may vary year-to-year depending on factors such as level of student demand. 

All students are also required to take a course in Business Research Methods, a pass in which is a condition for being allowed to proceed to the dissertation. This course counts for 20 credits. 

The third part of the programme is a dissertation on an international topic. Its length shall not exceed 20,000 words. This will be allocated 60 credits, making 180 in total.
