The importance of the Asia Pacific region, including, China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and the countries of South East Asia to the global economy continues to grow. This programme explores the rise of business in the Asia Pacific, including China, Japan and Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan, as well as the nations of South East Asia. It also explores issues of multinational enterprise, internationalisation, human resource management, strategy, entrepreneurship, business organisation, technology, culture, and the role of national governments.

Our Management of Asia Pacific Multinationals course is a stimulating and unique part of the programme, based on lectures given by leading business executives from Chinese, Japanese and Korean multinationals and government organisations. These typically include executives from: Samsung, Toyota, Hitachi, Huawei, TECO, JETRO and KOTRA, providing a unique opportunity for you to meet them as they share their real-life experiences, knowledge and objectives with you.

Comparisons are made between Asian international business and other nations, and students are expected to investigate corporate case studies, work in teams, and present their learning from the lectures.
