Course Description
During training dentists acquire a set of skills, which can be further applied in the implementation of an independent dental practice. These competencies can be grouped into the following areas: Professionalism, Communication skills, Basic knowledge, information handling and critical thinking, Collection of clinical information, Diagnosis and treatment planning, Establishing and maintaining oral health, Health Promotion.The training is conducted at the Faculty of Dental Mediicine that was given (2007) by the National Agency of Evaluation and Accreditation a very good mark for the courses it provides, and was accredited for a period of 6 years to train Masters of Science in Dental Medicine, as well as specializing doctors of dental medicine. Finalizing the training the Specialists in Dentistry must possess skills in recruitment of clinical information, diagnosis and treatment planning, establishing and maintaining oral health and treatment of diseases of the oral mucosa, periodontal treatments, caries and endodontic treatment, surgical procedures, restorative / prosthetic treatment , Orthodontic treatment, treatment of emergencies, Improving the oral health of individuals, families and community groups.
