Course Description
Medical University Plovdiv by the Faculty of Public Health offers the following training courses and accredited degrees: 1. Preparation of specialists in management of health care and education 'bachelor':• Regular training - five semesters, 150 credits; Part-time training - five semesters, 150 credits; 2. Preparation of specialists in health care management for educational and qualification degree "Master" after the educational and qualification degree "Bachelor" and "Management of health care" following educational and qualification degree "Health Care"; • 2 semesters - 75 credits; • 3 semesters - 105 credits; 3. Preparation of specialists in management of medical and social services and public health for medical professionals; • Part-Time Training - 3 semesters, 90 credits; 4. Preparation of specialists in public health and health management for medical and non-medical professionals with educational and qualification degree "Master". • 2 semesters - 60 credits; 5. PhD training - full and part time. 6. Training of graduate students.
The training is conducted by qualified teachers with specialties and research interests in the following main areas: Social Medicine, General Medicine, Medical and Business Ethics Medical Informatics and Biostatistics, and ekomeditsina Hygiene, Epidemiology of Infectious Diseases, Applied epidemiology, disaster medicine, Medical Psychology, Philosophical Anthropology, Medical Sociology, Information Technologies in Medicine, Health Management, Health Economics, Health law and medical law, health project management and time and other medical pedagogy.
The Faculty of Public Health has modern classrooms with about 300 seats, computer room and cabinets that meet educational standards. Faculty has secured a permanent Internet connection to all jobs. The University operates Department of language learning that can accept foreign students who wish to advance training in the Bulgarian language.
