The BSc in Computing Science with a Year Abroad is identical to the BSc in Computing Science except that the second year is spent at a University in either North America (United States or Canada), or Australasia (Australia or New Zealand). A degree in Computing Science prepares you to work with the rapidly changing technology of computing by giving you a strong grounding in the theory of computing science, as well as experience and skills in programming and in application areas. In the first year you will be introduced to the core material that underpins computer science, including programming in Java.
