The American Studies with Creative Writing degree provides an introduction to the demands and challenges of creative practice. In this degree, Creative Writing is offered as a subsidiary subject taken in conjunction with the study of American Literature. The UEA has a long tradition of providing courses in the writing of fiction, poetry and drama and has close and active links with the world of contemporary writing.
