Course Description
The BSc Actuarial Sciences with a year in industry is a four year programme aimed at studious applicants who wish to become actuaries. The course gives you the opportunity to gain exemptions for the first eight (CT1-CT8) professional examinations set by the UK Actuarial Profession.This will allow you to appreciate the work of actuaries and to apply your knowledge from taught lectures to real world problems. The interaction with industry will also develop your transferable skills such as communication and analytical problem solving skills which in turn will enhance your employability.
