Electrical engineers create micro-devices, circuits, and systems that are used to create, process, or distribute information and energy. The course will prepare students for a wide range of professional practice through a combination of core and career track courses. Students will initially learn a technical foundation in math, science and engineering principles as well as a social foundation. Gradually students will be able to focus on their interest into one of the department's specialities, which include microelectronics, energy and control systems, and communication systems. Students will experience a hands on approach in the laboratory where they will work on circuits, experiments and projects.
