Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Gulf Medical University

COURSE SEARCH

The MBBS program shall strive to provide adequate

opportunities to observe, perform and practice basic

clinical/professional skills competently with an

understanding of the basic sciences within the health

care delivery system. The MBBS program offered by the

Gulf Medical University, Ajman has 3 clearly defined

goals. A total of 45 objectives have been derived from

these goals. The learning outcomes of the proposed

organ system-based, integrated curriculum have been

listed for each module in the curriculum and are in turn

closely aligned to the program objectives.

At the end of the MBBS program, the graduate should

be able to: acquire and understand scientific principles

of medical knowledge at the molecular, cellular, organ,

whole body and environmental levels of health and

disease. He/She should be able to apply the current

understanding and recent advances in contemporary

basic sciences to promote health problems of individuals

(at different stages of life), families and communities.
