Course Description

The Master of Science in Early Childhood Education Program is designed to prepare specialists by strengthening your understanding of educational theories and practice, child growth and development, and strategies to design programs to support the diverse needs of young children and their families. Prospective students include current teachers and other professionals who want to enhance their skills in areas that are related to or support early childhood education, including those who work at profit and non-profit programs in centers, Head Start programs, family childcare, after-school programs, and public and private kindergarten programs. Many courses in the program also fulfill requirements for those seeking licensure (PK-3rd grade) in Wisconsin.
