Course Description

The evolution of telecoms networks, systems and services has been driven in large part by mobile and wireless technologies. Wide-scale commercial implementation of 2G, 3G and now 4G networks has happened in the space of 15 years. This situation is unprecedented in most other parts of industry and provides superb opportunities for those involved. What is more, the evolution of this technology has meant that regulation, management and business strategy in the sector are also at the forefront of commercial evolution.

Recognising the fast-moving nature of the telecoms sector, and with a desire to offer the most current and relevant research-related programme, Middlesex University has partnered with one of the sector’s leading training and consultancy companies, mpirical limited, to develop the MSc Mobile Telecommunications Engineering Masters.  The unique, cutting-edge syllabus explores the key facets of mobile telecoms. During the course you will not only have access to the very latest academic thinking and research in this field but also the opportunity to study with lecturers who currently work commercially as advisers and consultants within the mobile telecoms sector.
