Course Summary

Course Description

Our Distance Learning LLB Honours Law degree provides you with the same qualification as our traditional taught LLB, with the added benefit of being able to study it anywhere in the world. The LLB is the only undergraduate course that offers a qualifying law degree for exemption from the academic stage of professional legal education, recognised by the Joint Academic Stage Board of Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and Bar Standards Board (BSB).
The flexibility of the teaching programme makes this course ideal for students in full or part-time work. You will not be required to attend any face to face lectures as the course is delivered exclusively online whilst formal examinations can be sat at a designated centre of your convenience if you do not live near the Middlesex University campus.
Our teaching staff on the course have considerable experience delivering distance education and you will benefit from Middlesex's superior virtual learning environment, comprehensive learning materials, technical support and a dedicated course administrator. Our staff will support you throughout your time as a student and you’ll also benefit from their wealth of experience and knowledge as many of our lecturers are qualified as solicitors, barristers, or both, in the UK and other jurisdictions.
Students who graduate with at least a lower second class honours will be guaranteed a place at the College of Law to undertake the Legal Practice Course (the next stage towards becoming a solicitor). Graduates from our Law degrees have gone on to work for companies including American Airlines, Charsley Harrison PPL and Santander.
