Course Description

Our BA Business Management (Finance) course is designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills to build a successful management career in a wide range of businesses, governmental and third sector organisations. In addition to studying the theory that underpins modern business principles, you will also develop your practical, analytical and decision making skills. 

The first year has been designed to provide you with a broad understanding of the key business functions, providing the foundation on which to build your specialist financial management expertise. Focusing on aspects of financial management from the second year; you will gain an understanding of the pivotal role that sound financial management plays in the success of all businesses and organisations. You will be exposed to a wide range of financial functions including business objective setting, planning, controlling and monitoring financial resources.  You will learn how financial tools and practices help organisations to make efficient use of their resources in order to succeed.
