Course Description

Our BA Business Management (Innovation) course is designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills to build a successful management career in a wide range of businesses, governmental and third sector organisations. In addition to studying the theory that underpins modern business principles, you will also develop your leadership skills and ability to analyse, plan and solve business and management problems – transferrable skills that are welcomed in the workplace.
The first year has been designed to provide you with a broad understanding of the key business functions, providing the foundation on which to build your specialist expertise; however your subsequent years will focus on your specialised innovation pathway.
You will gain a solid grounding in innovation theory and application which will enable you to manage innovation issues in a wide range of sectors and environments to contribute to business effectiveness. It will also explore the expectations and behaviour of stakeholders and how organisations operate in terms of their functions, structure and management. The range of topics you will cover across business, management and innovation will enhance your practical and and also arm you with the ability to solve business and management problems by creating and evaluating solutions.
