Our BA Business Management (Marketing) course is designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills to build a successful management career with a specialism in marketing, in a wide range of businesses, governmental and third sector organisations. In addition to studying the theory that underpins modern business principles, you will develop the practical analytical and decision making skills which will allow you to build a successful management career.  The first year has been designed to provide you with a broad understanding of the key business functions, providing the foundation on which to build your specialist marketing expertise.

Focusing on business and marketing principles from the second year; you will gain an understanding of  the importance of strategic marketing to all organisations that have to compete in order to be successful.  You will learn about consumers, how they behave and how organisations ascertain their needs to create products and successful brands. You will learn about the importance of market research and develop project management skills.
