Course Description
Our BA Business Management (Project Management) course will provide you with the knowledge, skills and confidence to build a successful management career. In addition to studying the theory that underpins modern business principles, you will develop the analytical and decision making skills that will allow you to identify key processes and systems whilst challenging current project management ideologies and practices.Your first year of study has been designed to provide you with a broad understanding of key business functions, providing the foundation on which you can start to tailor your course around your own areas of interest.
As you progress through your course, the Project Management pathway aims to explore specific factors contributing to business success. You will learn how to manage projects in a wide range of sectors and environments, devise project plans and responses whilst also contributing to business effectiveness.
In your second and third years you will study modules including Management Strategy and Managing Business Projects with the further option of studying modules including Developing Projects with Software, Developing Successful Project Plans and Operational Management Modelling.
