Course Summary

Course Description

The College of Education and Human Services and the Lake Campus assume responsibility for one of the university's primary functions: preparing teachers, educational leaders, and professionals. The department of Teacher Education prepares licensed and non-licensed leaders for public and private schools. Throughout its history, the Lake Campus has maintained a close working relationship with the regional public schools and community agencies. Frequent involvement of the Lake Campus education faculty in the schools and agencies of the area, and the advice and planning assistance of public school and agency personnel, serve to improve the campus’s programs, the programs of community schools, and the services of community agencies.

It is key to note that this degree does not include licensure and will require additional coursework at the graduate level.
