Course Description

The School of Nursing offers a program of study leading to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Upon successful completion of the program, you may apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination. Along with the university’s core curriculum of liberal arts and sciences, the nursing degree includes 60 semester hours of nursing courses, in areas such as:

The curriculum is designed to produce nursing graduates who bring a diverse liberal arts education to nursing practice. Students develop skills in leadership and management, discuss evidence-based research, explore relevant technology options, and investigate healthcare policy and health-related regulatory issues. Students build their communication abilities, work in collaborative settings, and express Christian Caring towards patients.
