Course Description
The Bachelor of Architecture program develops creative thinking and ensures that students have adequate knowledge about technical and theoretical principles of architecture. Besides that students learn to analyze and solve design problems with the knowledge they are equipped. The Bachelor of Architecture is an eight semester program with three summer practices. In the first three semester Architecture and Interior Architecture and Environmental Design students take design and structure courses together. There is an Urban Design Studio in the seventh semester of the program which the student deals with large-scale urban problems. The Department of Architecture at Izmir University offers an undergraduate study programme that prepares students for the practice of Architecture and for further studies in the related fields.
