Course Description

The MSc Entrepreneurship and Strategy course is designed for graduates who wish to develop an understanding of the business and management field and hold a special interest in entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship is important in both developed economies as technology and globalisation have increased the size of accessible markets, and developing economies as their rapid growth offers opportunities for enterprising individuals.

Designed for those who have not studied a business or management degree or done so in a different language, the course begins with a grounding in the foundational areas of Human Resource Management, Finance and Accounting and Marketing, the course then specialises in the study of entrepreneurship and strategy. Modules develop knowledge and understanding of the practice and character of entrepreneurship in the economy, provide opportunities to develop the creative and analytical skills of the entrepreneur and introduce students to the task of creating strategic advantage.  The course is completed by submitting a business plan for a new enterprise or the renewal of an existing one.
