Course Description
Oil resources form the cornerstone of Oman’s economy. The country is host to a wide range of petroleum producing, processing and service companies. Electrical Power is vital to run these industries and equally important is the knowledge of transmission, distribution and efficient utilisation of electrical power.
The field of electrical power engineering continues to expand rapidly, requiring graduates to apply their skill in new contexts and manage intelligently the consequences of their technical decisions. Our curriculum accommodates this expansion and emphasises hands-on experience through numerous laboratory courses. This programme provides qualified graduates with a deeper understanding of fundamentals of electrical power engineering as well as a broader set of professional skills and exposure to other technical disciplines.
