Course Description

This programme, the first of its kind in Oman, provides technical skills and knowledge in process, chemical, mechanical, electronic, electrical, instrumentation and control engineering in order to help graduates understand and meet the requirement of various process industries like oil and gas, and chemical and fertiliser plants.

The multifaceted discipline of Process Operations and Maintenance, or ‘POM’ as it is called, covers process plant operations, chemical plant safety, process control and maintenance management as required in a modern oil and gas industry. It provides you with a specialisation in process equipment and design, flow line fabrication and control, operation and maintenance, utilities and service systems
