In addition, an aging population that seeks a quality of life and good health will increase the demand for qualified health and fitness professionals. In fact, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, it is projected that a 29 percent increase in employment in the exercise science field is expect to 2018—a rate of employment that is faster than the national average for all occupations.
