Course Description

The course is delivered over three years of full-time study. After year two there is the option of completing a year on industrial placement or studying abroad which will extend the duration to four years. Successful completion of this optional year can lead to either an honours degree with Diploma in Professional Practice or honours degree with Diploma in International Academic Studies. The placement year will enhance future career prospects as it provides you with the opportunity to consolidate and broaden your understanding of business and computing and further develop your skills base.

In year one you will be introduced to areas such organisational studies, accounting, marketing and web information systems. This is designed to give you a strong grounding in basic business and computing which is then further developed in your second and final years of study.
