Course Summary

Course Description

 total of 18 law modules are studied over the course of three years(full-time). These modules include the core law modules needed for Qualifying Law Degree Status.

Students will study 6 x 20 credit (or equivalent) modules in Law each year as follows:

Year 1 Semester 1: Introduction to Law; Public Law, Learning Legal Skills

Year 1 Semester 2: Criminal Law; Law of Tort; Public International Law

Year 2 Semester 1: Contract Law; Introduction to Property Law; Jurisprudence

Year 2 Semester 2: Land Law; European Law, Business and Commercial Law

Year 3 Semester 1: Equity and Trusts; plus two optional modules e.g. Company Law, Human Rights Law, Surveillance and the Law, Family Law.

Year 3 Semester 2: Law of Evidence; Law Dissertation plus one other optional module
