Course Description
This course aims to:
- To provide a vocationally biased high quality education at honours degree level that develops knowledge, understanding and experience of the theory, practice and application of selected areas of mathematics, statistics and computing science.
- To develop enterprise competencies, emphasising the key transferable skills of communication and independent learning.
- To provide an opportunity either for extended work experience through an industrial placement year or for an enriching experience through time spent abroad.
- To produce graduates who have the intellectual ability to respond appropriately to new challenges.
- To produce graduates needed by industry, commerce and the public sector to help solve practical problems using the skills and techniques taught on the programme of study.
