Course Description

This course aims to:

1. To provide a vocationally biased high quality education at honours degree level that develops knowledge, understanding and experience of the theory, practice and application of selected areas of mathematics, statistics and computing science.

1. To develop enterprise competencies, emphasising the key transferable skills of communication and independent learning.

1. To provide an opportunity either for extended work experience through an industrial placement year or for an enriching experience through time spent abroad.

1. To produce graduates who have the intellectual ability to respond appropriately to new challenges.

1. To produce graduates needed by industry, commerce and the public sector to help solve practical problems using the skills and techniques taught on the programme of study.
