Course Summary

Course Description

The major provides students opportunities to develop leadership, advocacy, critical thinking, and communication excellence in writing, speaking, and performing.  The discipline is studied from the viewpoints of interpersonal relations, organizational communication, journalism, rhetoric, public relations, theatre, and multimedia channels (e.g., broadcasting, film, internet).  Students take courses in each area and then develop their own program with the assistance of a department advisor.
