Construction management is a profession that brings architectural visions to life and to the community, protecting the interests of the construction process. Construction Management professionals are leaders and influencers, those able to listen, organize, and communicate efficiently while abiding by laws and regulations to produce a high-quality end product. Although this field has only been around for the past 40 to 50 years, NSAD has worked diligently to teach people to be leaders in it. In the first and second year of study, our students take classes that overlap with those in the architecture program, learning the cross-discliplinary skills that will prepare them for a career working with architecture and other building industry professionals. The demand for good leaders is great, and students who graduate with this degree are getting jobs right out of college into good-paying careers.
