Course Summary

Course Description

As an LLB, it is a ‘Qualifying Law degree’ for the purposes of exemption from the academic stage of legal training, should you wish to pursue a professional career as a solicitor or barrister. A significant feature of Law study in the Lancashire Law School is the emphasis from the outset on relevant legal and transferable skills, including research, oral and written communication skills and mooting. The Psychology element provides students with a knowledge and understanding of the broader psychology environment and of specific areas relevant to their interest.

The strength of this programme is that it provides students with an internationally recognised LLB degree and yet combines the study of psychology, enhancing the transferable and employability skills of graduates.
