This course is aimed at students who seek an understanding of both Public Relations and Management. This programme gives graduates a competitive edge, as they build their knowledge of two specialisms which operate closely together in professional life. This prepares graduates for managerial decision-making, where a deep understanding of management goes hand in hand with a high level of communications competence. In the PR role, students learn how to develop reputation and develop mutual understanding between organisations and their publics. In the management role, students gain a perspective on management across an organisation’s functions. The programme is intentionally structured to offer a clear organisational purpose in relation to PR. This course is recognised by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. During your course you will have the opportunity to undertake a placement in industry and to study abroad.
