Policing is a complex, dynamic, discipline. Further academic study in this exciting and challenging field will build on the skills and knowledge you have acquired through study for your Foundation degree and will equip you with the skills necessary for a range of professional responsibilities. UCLan has been delivering Policing studies since 2001 and offer a range of Foundation, Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes. The course team are all former senior police officers with a wealth of 'real world' skill and experience of policing and criminal investigation. You will develop valuable transferable skills such as oral/written communication, team working, and critical thinking. You will need to be a highly motivated, inquisitive, person with a thirst for knowledge and understanding, not afraid of a challenge, and who wants to make a difference. This programme is delivered over two years’ part-time study in recognition of the fact that you may be in full-time employment.
