Course Description

This well established programme is unique in the UK, highly regarded by the meat industry and attracts students from around the world. Currently the programme has a range of mandatory and optional units, and includes an in-depth research project.

Each unit is taught in a two week block by research staff who are experts in their own fields. The programme is based at the University of Bristol's Langford site, about 20 km to the south west of Bristol. There are options to study part-time or by distance learning, allowing industry employees to complete the programme over two to three years.
