These
are available at various levels from ordinary, honours,
and masters, and there is an option of a foundation entry
route. The foundation route is specially designed for students
entering from non-traditional educational backgrounds, for
students without some of the necessary pre-requisite skills
(e.g. maths or science) or mature students who may have
been away from education for some time.
A
typical offer for entry to the BEng and MEng programmes
would be CCC and BBB respectively. For many of the courses
A-level should include mathematics and preferably physics,
but this is not a requirement for some courses. Candidates
with lower grades may be accepted on BSc courses.
Demand
for City University engineering graduates has never been
higher and we firmly believe that our students are our finest
assets, aiming to provide each one every opportunity to
flourish in an academic and professional environment.
First
year students living outside Greater London area are guaranteed
university accommodation provided they accept a place before
the end of May. Open days are usually held between December
and April.
