Masters in Business Administration (MBA)

Is it for me?
The globally recognised MBA award is intended primarily for those with business ability and experience who want to take their career to greater heights.

What’s it for?
The broad aim of the MBA is to provide you with a thorough grounding in the principles of management and in the main functional areas of business followed by their integration through the application of strategic management principles to corporate achievement. This is coupled with the opportunity to explore a broad choice of topic options and also the development of a special depth of knowledge within a field of your choice for your dissertation. This is achieved through mixed class discussions, group work and attending residentials at home and overseas.

How long does it take?
The full-time MBA is an intensive one year taught course, followed by the submission of a dissertation. It is possible to complete within 12 months.

What are the entry qualifications?

It is highly desirable that you do so - and, if seeking non-graduate entry, essential that you do so. The MBA is a serious commitment for you (and probably for your family!) We will try to offer all prospective students the chance to informally meet us, where this is feasible, to explore all aspects of the course and any further questions you might have.
