- Established in 1910 to educate teachers, BGSU is the 14th largest producer of teachers in the country
- In-town residential campus in a park-like setting
- Bowling Green (population 29,600) is within easy driving distance of major Midwest cities and the Toledo airport

- 30 instructional computing labs across campus; a computer lab in every residence complex; residence hall rooms wired for high-speed Internet access
