Academic excellence
Founded in 1899, Groupe ESC Dijon - the Burgundy School of Business - is a leading teaching and research institution of higher learningthat belongs to the network of top French academic institutions in management (Grandesécoles de commerce).
Our international community represents 30% of the student body and includes 46 nationalities. 35% of our faculty is composed of international professors and we welcomes 60 visiting professors from 15 countries every year.
We offer four Masters of Science taught in English and open to French and international students:
Practical experience
Burgundy School of Business offers practical experience from the get-go. Programmes bring students directly into contact with companies looking for help on how to analyse and deal with real-life issues in their businesses.
Classes are small, allowing lecturers to give individual attention to students. In certain programmes students receive one-on-one coaching from outside experts.
The large network of national and international partner companies is a valuable resource for students looking for work placements and career opportunities abroad and in France.
Quality of life
Burgundy School of Business is in Dijon, the capital of Burgundy, acity rich in culture and history. The centre, largely a pedestrian zone, has been beautifully preserved, with buildings dating from medieval times, cobbled streets and a magnificent ducal palace.
The region of Burgundy is famed for its wines and some of the world's greatest wine estates are in close proximity. The local cuisine isflavourful and hearty.
Dijon lies in the core of Europe. Paris is an hour and forty minutes away by train and Europe’s other capitals are easily accessible.
Our school offers students a dynamic social scene with a wide range of clubs and societies. The University of Burgundy and Sciences Po, two other important institutes of higher learning, add their students to the international and vibrant social mixof Dijon.
To help students adapt to life in France, Burgundy School of Business offers free French classes at all levels for students enrolled in the English-taught programmes.
The International Relations Office provides comprehensive support to students throughout their studies.
