Computer Systems Institute ESL Academy

History:
The ESL Academy is a division of Computer Systems Institute (CSI), a private college founded in 1989 to serve students struggling to prepare themselves for the demands of an ever-changing computer industry. CSI expanded its program offerings to include short certificate and diploma programs targeted to adult professionals employed or seeking employment in computer, medical, and business organizations.
In 2005, recognizing the demand from a growing community of international students, immigrants, and other non-English speaking permanent residents for an affordable and an effective English language program, CSI launched ESL Academy. Since then, thousands of students from more than 40 countries have taken courses at the Academy. The ESL Academy has also grown to include programs in intensive, academic, and business English and plans to continue its growth to become the nation's top provider of English language and professional studies.
