NCUK Is a group of UK Universities set up in 1988 to run University Foundation Courses (with local partners) for International students.

3 NUCK Partner Universities were ranked in top 110 in the world in recent Times listing of top 400 Universities in World: - University of Manchester (49), University of Bristol and University of Sheffield (110)
NCUK Guarantee
NCUK now has 16 Partner Universities in UK plus 12 Partner Universities/Institutes in Ireland.
NCUK issues a guarantee that they will place all students who successfully complete their Foundation Courses and obtain pass grade specified by Partner Institutes i.e. exam grades A – D (40%). There is no guarantee for medicine.
NCUK/DIFC Courses
- International Foundation Year (IFY) for students who have completed High School and have English level equivalent to 5.0 IELTS. Separate streams for Business, Engineering, Health & Science (Medicine)
- IFY Medical Foundation Course has been approved for entry to medicine in Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Campuses in Dublin and Bahrain, St Georges University in London, Charles and Masaryk Universities in Czech Republic (E.U.)
- Graduate Diploma for students who have completed degree and wish to study Masters Course. English level 5.0 IELTS is required.
Both of these courses start in September and January each year

Placement of students in Universities
- Universities visit campus in Dublin to meet students in February
- Students visit University Campus in March/April
- Students apply through NCUK for 3 Universities in April
- Universities send student Conditional Offer Letter – May
- Students sit final examinations in June/August receives final exam results and are placed in University or Institute in September
Note: Examinations are set by NCUK Head Office located in University of Manchester for all NCUK centres throughout the world.
- Over 95% of students who successfully completed course are placed in Universities/Institutes each year.
- DIFC has placed over 1,000 students in past few year

- Each year around 30% of students are placed in UK Universities
Ireland/Dublin
- Dublin International Foundation college is based in Dublin the capital city of Ireland, 1.5 million population,
- Ireland has population of 4.5 million; Ireland and UK are only English speaking countries in E.U.
- Students who complete NCUK courses in DIFC can apply to UK Embassy in Dublin for visa to UK.
- Visa information on Ireland – over 30 countries do not need visa to study in Ireland. (link)
Dublin International Foundation College
- Set up in 1999 to run University Foundation Courses
- In 2004 signed exclusive agreement to run NCUK Courses in Ireland
- Located in large campus near centre of Dublin, total campus has 8,000 students (DIFC 200 students). On campus accommodation for 650 students. (link)
- Over 1,000 students placed in past few year into Universities/Institutes in Ireland and UK onto a wide range of Undergraduate and Masters Courses, including Business, Law, Finance, Engineering, Science Medicine etc.
