Who we are
Students from more than ninety countries study at the Czech Republic’s Prague College, in the heart of Europe. Our three schools offer Masters, Bachelors, Professional and Foundation programmes leading to internationally-recognized British degrees and qualifications.
We offer a highly experiential approach to university education, focused on the employability of our graduates. We are dedicated to ambitious academic activities across three core disciplines and pursue an interdisciplinary approach to our endeavours. And we are proud of our local and international reputation as an excellent place to study and learn.
Prague College runs an extensive and well-attended calendar of public conferences, lectures, exhibitions and events. But our fundamental commitment is to providing a first-rate university experience based on high quality teaching and learning that can transform lives.
What we offer
A highly practical education
Students combine learning with practical experience. With a portfolio of accomplished projects, our graduates leave us fully equipped for the world of work and able to show what they can do.
We have an average of 15 to 20 students in each business class and 12 students in computing and design classes. This excellent student-teacher ratio means you have time to talk with and learn from your professors in a high-quality educational context.
Great variety of study options
Many classes are offered during days or evenings; however, working students will appreciate the flexibility offered by a number of classes offered in a weekend, blended or distance-learning format.
British accredited and monitored
Our degrees are accredited by Teesside University and our approval to run higher and professional diploma programmes is from Pearson BTEC (formerly known as Edexcel), a British awarding body which enjoys international recognition.
All our facilities are modern, bright and quiet. At Prague College you will study in conditions that are considered excellent worldwide. The college has an ambitious programme of events and talks by guest lecturers, and exhibitions mounted by students.
Our students often start careers with the companies and organizations they come into contact with through during class and Industry Network activities.
Friendly, supportive and international
The college offers a close, familiar and professional atmosphere. Students come from over 90 countries, with Czechs making up about 40% of the student body.
The college is situated on a quiet street adjacent to a large park, in the prestigious Vinohrady district, five minutes from the commercial and historical centre of Prague. We are situated in a reconstructed historical building ideally organized for college activities.
