Sacred Heart University Luxembourg is the European campus of the John F. Welch College of Business at Sacred Heart University Fairfield, CT.

We have been offering the Master of Business Administration (MBA) on a part-time basis and Graduate Professional Certificate programs in Luxembourg for 20 years. These programs enable working professionals to participate in graduate level education experience that enhances their career opportunities by developing their managerial skills and abilities.

Since 2012 we offer a full-time MBA program combined with an internship intended for students without work experience from all over the world to study and simultaneously do an internship in Luxembourg.

All business programs of Sacred Heart University are AACSB accredited, a distinctive recognition of program excellence shared with fewer than 5% of business schools worldwide, and recognized by the Luxembourg Ministry of Higher Education.

Located in the modern complex of the Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg-Kirchberg, the heart of the financial sector and home of the European Institutions, Sacred Heart University benefits from a vibrant environment. Luxembourg is a world class financial cluster in the heart of Europe and ranks among the safest cities in the world. It has one of the highest national incomes per capita in the world, and a high concentration of corporations leading in their field.

The Welch MBA with internship program:  16 months

The program starts at the end of August and runs through the end of December the following year consisting of:

• Evening classes (usually from 6.30-9.30 pm) Classes are taught by international faculty and business executives
• 9 month paid (around€1000/month) internship at a top company in Luxembourg (e.g.ArcelorMittal,  Brown Brothers Harriman, Citibank International, Delphi Automotive Systems, Lombard International Assurance, PricewaterhouseCoopers, SES, UBS ) from 1 November to 31 July.

What sets us apart from other MBA programs?

• Young graduates without work experience can enroll in this program and obtain work experience
• Classes are taken together with part-time MBA students who do have on average 5-7 years of work experience
• Individual coaching support before and during internship
• Option to add courses in the USA at the main campus at SHU Fairfield (near New York)

Program starts: 
12 August 2013 or mid-July if foundation courses (in statistics/economics and management) are required

for non-EU/EEA : 15 April 2013
for EU/EEA: 15 June 2013
