St. Cloud State University is home to more than 15,000 students — including more than 1,000 international students from more than 90 nations — and is one of the most exciting, multicultural campuses in the United States’ Midwest region.

Integrating international education across all aspects of the university is a core goal of the University and St. Cloud State has been honored with the 2013 Senator Simon Award for Comprehensive Internationalization and the Higher Education Excellence in Diversity Award three years in a row.

St. Cloud State is also dedicated to providing an affordable education for domestic and international students alike. The University is recognized by Forbes, a New York-based bi-weekly magazine, as one of the 3 percent most affordable “Top Colleges” in the United States. St. Cloud State also offers 850 Academic and Cultural Sharing Scholarships to international students, which ensure students who receive them pay the same for tuition as Minnesota-resident students.

The campus is located on 100 acres of riverfront property along the Mississippi River in central Minnesota. The St. Cloud metropolitan area of 65,000 people offers arts, entertainment, concerts, theaters, parks and trails for students to enjoy. The Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul are just an hour’s drive or bus ride from St. Cloud and offer shopping, entertainment, national sporting events and an international airport.
