Trinity Western University (TWU)

Trinity Western University (TWU) is Canada’s premier Christian university. It is a full member of the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC), is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, and is the only private Canadian university to be invited into membership in The Royal Society of Canada.

TWU is known for outstanding academics and continually receives an A+ in national rankings. With an average class size of 20, students get to know their professors through classes, appointments, special events, and individual advising. Their professors know their names, not just their ID numbers. Because TWU is a small university, students have many privileges that they would not receive in a large institution.

In addition to academics, TWU has a vibrant and safe learning environment and a diverse community. Students can live in residence on campus, where male and female dorms are separate. With grassy areas, gardens, and massive trees, the campus provides a healthy, relaxing study environment.

Located in Langley, British Columbia, the university combines a balance of urban convenience and natural beauty. Safe and clean, Langley is located 45 minutes from downtown Vancouver and 2.5 hours from Seattle, Washington.

International Students can work off-campus while studying at Trinity Western and have an option of working in Canada for up to three years after they graduate.

  • TWU obtained an A+ on Globe and Mail for the past seven consecutive years.
  • In a Macleans’ survey in the past four years, TWU was ranked first in “most enriching educational experiences” and ranked among the top 3 in most its categories.
  • We are one of the members of the oldest (1881) and most distinguished association of scientists and scholars – the Royal Society of Canada.
  • We are fully recognized by Canadian Ministry of Education, Chinese Ministry of Education and United States Department of Education.
