Clearing is always a daunting time, and making a decision for your future can be overwhelming, but UCA’s Clearing Team are available to talk you through any questions you have about the application process and the courses that UCA offers.

We are committed to providing cutting-edge, industry-standard facilities for students to produce their work, and UCA graduates are renowned for being well prepared for positions in the creative industry. We also have a range of rare traditional workshops and tools. The facilities, across all our campuses include:

  • Huge studio spaces for painting, sculpture, fashion and filmmaking

  • An industry-standard Gerber suite for fashion pattern cutting

  • Extensive photography facilities including darkrooms, studios, a range of film and digital equipment and the Hasselblad Research Centre
  • A TV journalism room with live news feed, a TV studio with viewing gallery and radio suites for trainee journalists

  • The facilities of Maidstone TV Studios for our TV Production students.
There is a University Library on each campus, with publications suited to the subjects taught at the campus. The UCA libraries are the most comprehensive visual arts resource in the South East, with library collections from our 150 year history offering access to around 272,000 print and electronic books and exhibition catalogues.
UCA Open Days
Open Days at UCA are a great opportunity for you to discover one the of top creative arts' environment's in the UK. Our Open Day offer the opportunity# to discover our campuses such as tours, talks by course staff, sessions with our student ambassadors, the latest gallery exhibitions and a range of information points for our support services.
Our Autumn Open Days will be taking place at each of our campuses on the following dates:
