International Business School Alliance (IBSA) Sunset in Wilmington

The UNCW Cameron School of Business joined the International Business School Alliance in 2007, collaborating with six other partner schools to offer a unique, one-year, dual-degree program.

The IBSA program offers a unique learning experience based on student needs and graduate opportunities.  In semester 1, advanced core modules in business are offered, specialized learning takes place in semester 2, and a major research project is offered in the final semester.  Thisstructure offers an international experience in a global context through the blend of cultures and nationalities encountered during peer interaction and student-teacher collaboration in different countries. In particular, the major research project enhances and develops each student’s ability to take responsibility for an entire scope of work, from beginning to end, including concepts to address global issues, relatesources from different countries and achieve professionally-relevant outcomes.

Admission/Tuition and Fees

Students should apply to the university they where they want to begin the program.  Admission deadlines and criteria vary by each institution, but students can find the information easily here:

Total tuition and fees for the one-year program is 14,500€.  Forty-five percent is paid to the first university where students attend for their core modules and the remaining 55 percent is paid to the university where students complete their specialization courses and theses.
