AEI is offering an alternative to the traditional practice by which American secondary and post-secondary schools and colleges recruit international students. The traditional practice is that school representatives must travel and pay large registration fees to attend globally sponsored events by international organizations (e.g. ICEF and ALPHE) to broker relationships between the schools and international education agencies.AEI will broker for American schools to increase the number of international students enrolled. It will bring only academically qualified students to its member schools and universities thus eliminating the need for admissions departments spending time on unsolicited and often unqualified applications.
