Our 6 Distinct Schools
The Concordia University Wisconsin School of Nursing aligning with CUW mission, committed to helping students go forth into the world to fulfill their nursing vocation through professional excellence, integrity, caring, compassion and mindful presence. Our focus is to prepare nurses along a full spectrum, from the entry level Baccalaureate (BSN) degree, to the highest level of nursing practice, the Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.
Amid a revolution in education, our current students and graduates in the School of Education represent the dynamic solution, providing best practices in teaching and learning to the schools and students they serve. The School of Education offers program emphases in urban, international, and emerging education through four distinct undergraduate departments and eleven graduate programs.
The largest among the six CUW schools, the School of Business Administration houses the Global MBA program rated among the top 50 in the US in terms of value and quality In addition, the school serves non-traditional or adult students, traditional, and graduate students using a variety of delivery methods including face-to-face, videoconference and e-learning.
Our flexible MBA program is designed for the working professional, with accelerated on-campus courses, videoconferencing, or independent E-Learning courses available. The program prepares you to meet today’s administrative and ethical challenges, developing the knowledge professionals require.
Arts and Sciences
The School of Arts and Sciences consists of 12 departments offering 46 degree programs. It houses the Liberal Arts Core, the 48-credit foundation for all traditional undergraduates and provides graduate programs in Art Education, Church Music, Environmental Education, and Information Technology.. There is a diversity of opportunities within the school, and all programs focus on the integration of faith and learning as well as academic rigor and excellence within each discipline.
The CUWSOP has an inspired, supportive atmosphere that complements the university mission. The school takes full advantage of its metropolitan location to enter into alliances and strategic partnerships with local, regional and national healthcare entities to advance our mission of producing pharmacists ready to practice anywhere. The School is committed to the development of pharmacists who are dedicated to providing value-based, patient-centered care that improves the health of our communities through excellence in teaching, research, service, and practice.
The School of Health Professions (SHP) mission is to prepare outstanding graduates who value intellectual curiosity, professional and personal growth, demonstrate excellence in practice, and appreciate diversity and service. The SHP is dedicated to preparing health professionals and scientists who integrate faith, professional excellence and service. Our faculty are experienced health care providers who mentor the students as they provide services to the uninsured and underinsured populations in our community.
